Ayanna Bell
Trinity Fellow, Community Engagement and Data Communications Coordinator
Ayanna is a Trinity Fellow and serves as the Community Engagement and Data Communication Coordinator for Data You Can Use (DYCU). She is excited to support the team with both current and future projects, bringing her passion for connecting people to essential resources and leveraging data analysis to drive positive change in developing communities. Originally from San Diego, California, Ayanna was raised in Southern Maryland, where her love for community and nature flourished.
Ayanna earned her degree in Economics, with a minor in Mathematics, from Mary Baldwin University. Her academic background and dedication to understanding complex economic systems have equipped her to make a meaningful impact in her field. As part of the Trinity Fellows program, Ayanna is focusing on Applied Economics with a specialization in economic analysis.
In her spare time, Ayanna is teaching herself to play the Ukulele, a testament to her love for music, which plays a significant role in her life. Looking ahead, she aspires to become an economic or data analyst for a nonprofit organization dedicated to environmental sustainability, where she can further align her professional skills with her passion for nature.
Ayanna is driven by her deep connection to her community and the natural world. She values relationships, justice, kindness, comfort, and education, and she strives to embody these principles in all aspects of her work and life.
